The Role:
Ventia are currently seeking an experienced Quality Manager to provide leadership, advice and support for compliance and operational excellence in quality assurance matters. This role is also responsible for the implementation, monitoring and governance of Group and Sector SHEQ programs.
The responsibilities of the position include but not limited to:
1. Manage, guide and mentor SHEQ Quality Advisors within their designated area of responsibilities
2. Coach and mentor operational personnel across the region in the development and application of Quality systems and processes, to ensure ongoing understanding and compliance with the business requirements
3. Provide expert advice and practical solutions to support project-based personnel to ensure the effective implementation of quality and assurance management systems
4. Partner with SHEQ Manager to prepare annual Project Integrated Audit & Inspection Plan and maintain the Plan
5. Schedule and conduct internal process audits and action tracking to ensure compliance with Ventia requirements, and certifications/accreditations are maintained
6. Provide advice on close out of Corrective Action Reports (CARs)
7. Schedule and conduct supplier/subcontractor audits
Education and Qualifications:
8. Integrated SHEQ Lead Auditor
9. Diploma, Degree in OHS, science, engineering or related discipline
Technical Competencies:
10. Ability to implement SHEQ Objectives and Targets at project level
11. Strong ability to articulate SHEQ strategy to operational leads
12. Sounds knowledge of root cause analysis tools (5 whys, Fishbone Diagram & …)
13. Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Skills & Experience:
14. 10+ years in similar industry, services or construction organisation
15. Operational experience desirable
16. Demonstrated success in delivery of multi-disciplinary audit programs
