About your opportunity:
In this position you will provide advanced clinical leadership and expertise at an advanced level of service delivery and program facilitation relevant to CACH. The Clinical Nurse Consultant works in collaboration with the CACH Team Leader and Nurse Educators to support the clinical unit in provision of safe quality healthcare through exemplary clinical nursing standards of practice.
About your role:
* Provide advice and education to staff and clients based on evidence-based knowledge of the speciality area, acting as a senior member of the multidisciplinary team.
* Use effective communication skills to influence and convince others in a mature, confident manner to achieve positive client outcomes including providing informant and/or advice on clinical issues within the RN scope of practice.
* Provide direct clinical care and advice in a defined practice area for client group with complex care requirements and is recognised by the multidisciplinary team for expertise and is a resource for others.
* Model highly developed knowledge, skills, and behaviours; including problem identification and solution, analysis and interpretation of clinical data, and implementation of innovative and effective client care to achieve positive outcomes for client groups and individuals with complex care requirements.
