About the role
We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
1. Communication with medical staff, both onsite and off-site
2. Answering enquiries, coordinating courier and medical centre collections, pathology results assistance
3. General administration duties
4. Maintain customer confidentiality
5. Liaise with laboratory staff
About you
To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:
6. Sound typing/data entry skills (approximately 50 wpm with 98% accuracy)
7. Previous experience or knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to liaise with individuals at all levels of an organisation
9. A willingness to adhere to departmental and organisational policies and procedures
10. Must be a cohesive and contributing member of the team and display positive attitudes towards achieving outcomes
11. Strong time management, interpersonal and organisational skills
12. Excellent telephone manner
13. Strong customer focus and general office skills
14. Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
