As the Recoveries Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team to through identification, investigation, recovery and reconciliation activities towards incorrectly overpaid claims to Bupa Hospital, Medical and Ancillary Providers, Medicare, Customers and, Third-Parties. Thorough understanding and proactive management of Bupa system rules, products, policies, business rules, benefit schedules, contract, bulk billing groups, Practice ID’s and guidelines.This role will drive cost savings as a result of the development of claims leakage strategies. There is a significant requirement to support and provide subject matter expertise uplift in systems implementation and analytics adoption to drive improved ROI. How will I help?
1. Develop and implement a strategic plan for claims recoveries, which involves identifying potential areas of recovery, setting targets, and outlining operational plans.
2. Initiate profiling reviews within an agreed annual work program.
3. Maintain detailed records of recoveries efforts and outcomes and provide regular reports to senior management and key stakeholders
4. Identify opportunities to streamline claims recovery processes, reduce errors, and enhance efficiency.
5. Provide advice on statistical and data reports produced by the Data and Analytics team to determine potential recovery opportunities or areas for process improvement.
6. Assist the Head of Claims Integrity with tracking and reduction of recoveries and aged debt.
7. Manage and develop a team of Recoveries Officers to execute recovery efforts and manage performance through consistent feedback sessions.
8. Develop the team by ensuring personal development plans are formed and continuously tracked for progress.

9. Bachelors degree in a related field such as business, healthcare management or similar discipline.
10. A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant professional experience in areas such as claims management or recoveries operations.
11. Demonstrated experience in leadership or supervisory capacity with a proven track record in successfully leading and managing a team to achieve objectives.
12. In-depth knowledge of claims management, recovery processes, and regulations.
13. Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques is valuable including the ability to recognise trends, insights, and patterns using complex data sets and reports.
14. Experience in optimising and streamlining processes to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
15. Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence people at various levels of the organisation.
