The Role: As the Site Supervisor, you will work with the Project Managers and Engineers, ensuring the day to day site works of the project are delivered successfully, with both internal and external commitments. Key Responsibilities of the role will include: 2 years of previous experience in a supervisory role within the Civil Construction industry in South Australia across bulk earthworks or roads Strong leadership, communication and motivational skills. A positive 'make it happen' approach focused on getting the job done without compromising safety, quality and environmental objectives. Good understanding of best resourcing to deliver efficiencies. Develop clear objectives, measures and targets for people, monitor performance against expectations and take action through training, coaching and other development activities to enhance the skills of the project team Ability to meet schedule and budget targets Willing to get your hands dirty Being well versed in both written and oral communication with team members and client representatives. Be knowledgeable and a well-informed leader who sets an example The Individual: You will have a proven experience as a Site Supervisor or Lead Hand ideally within the civil sector and hold a current Australian driver’s license. You will be a natural leader with effective communication skills.
