In this role, you will manage and optimise the entire supply chain process, from raw material procurement to the delivery of finished products to customers. This position is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing customer service. Apply today!Responsibilities:Source and manage suppliers, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely deliveries.Monitor imports and address delays while mitigating supply chain risks.Maintain optimal inventory levels, coordinate warehouse operations, and implement stock control measures to minimise obsolescence and stockouts.Oversee transportation and logistics to ensure timely deliveries. Work with freight forwarders and carriers to optimise costs and lead times.Update raw material and sales data, collaborate with sales and production teams, and analyse market trends to enhance service levels.Identify process improvements, implement lean practices, analyse data for trend identification, and prepare performance reports.Work closely with production, sales, finance, and quality assurance teams to ensure supply chain efficiency.Ensure regulatory compliance, promote ethical sourcing, and support sustainability initiatives, including waste reduction and modern slavery prevention.Qualifications/Attributes:Must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).Must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.Familiarity with regulatory requirements, customs processes, and trade compliance related to PVC.Proficiency in supply chain software (e.g., Sage 300, Mango QMS, WMS, TMS).Knowledge of lean, Six Sigma, and sustainability practices in supply chain management.Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.Strong data analysis, attention to detail, and ability to identify and resolve supply chain issues efficiently.Effective negotiation, stakeholder management, and teamwork skills to drive collaboration and process improvements.Ability to multitask, prioritise workloads, and adapt to dynamic supply chain challenges.Salary Range: $73,650 p.a. excluding superannuation.
