This purpose-built green star rated office and wash facility will be opening shortly and requires a lead by an experienced and highly capable operations leader.About this opportunityThe Site Operations Manager is responsible for all aspects of the site to deliver all agreed targets for the business. The role is broad and requires a clear focus on the following priorities:About you:This is a great opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Auckland Site.Managing a leadership team of 4 and their team of 60 to consistently achieve performance targets as a safe, collaborative and high performing team.Ensuring production standards are met through standardized work adherence.Working collaboratively as part of a wider Site Operations Team to implement best practice operational processes.Demonstrating Pact Values in all interactions and creating a business that our people are proud of and that rates as our customers' best supplier.Continuously improving overall operational performance levels measured by safe behaviour, quality, plant reliability, machine performance, delivery reliability, responsiveness, and cost control/reduction.Coaching, training, and developing our talent contributing to a sustainable high performing workforce.To be successful in this role you will need:Demonstrable experience as an engaging manufacturing operational professional with the ability to guide teams through change and ambiguity.Experienced coach who can spot and develop talent at all levels.Continuous improvement focus.MRP systems experience (SAP ideal).Strong commercial and financial knowledge and acumen.Able to work under pressure and show empathy when necessary.Strong conceptual and analytical skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.QualificationsTrade or Technical Qualifications an advantage.Additional InformationPact PerksWe like to give back to those who contribute so much to the success of our business.
