As our Administration Officer, you will:
1. Provide timely and accurate administrative support including completion of internal quality assurance measures and delivery of information and documentation
2. Monitor and edit data for accuracy and maintain electronic and hard copy records, raising data issues where required to ensure data integrity in accordance with department standards
3. Use judgement and problem solving when undertaking allocated tasks and non-routine requests to meet timeframes, competing priorities and quality requirements
4. Support the team by providing mentoring and training to new or inexperienced staff
5. Acquire and sustain a working knowledge of relevant information systems
6. Participate in user acceptance testing, troubleshooting and provide feedback for system upgrades to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of operational administrative tasks
7. Participate in the continual improvement of operational processes and identify inconsistencies in the application of operational procedures
8. Uphold business efficiency and the positive profile of the Program and DAF through effective communication with members of the public, clients, staff, suppliers and stakeholders
9. Provide high quality customer services by responding to enquiries and accurately recording details on relevant databases
10. Perform administrative support for treatment or surveillance activities, including the generation of appointments/bookings as required
11. Export and review reports and data from relevant systems. Collate and order the exported data to be escalated to management for decision-making and/or reporting purposes.
What we are looking for Essential requirements
12. A current ‘C' class drivers' licence (no restrictions)
13. Knowledge of ArcGIS or other GIS software is highly desirable.
14. Knowledge of Customer Service, and previous operations administrative experience is highly desirable.
15. While there are no mandatory qualifications for this role, practical experience or qualifications in a related field will be favourably regarded. Why join the department? (benefits)
