About the Opportunity
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Apprentice Chefs to join our Catering teams in our Villages located in the Bowen Basin, approximately three hours inland from Mackay, Queensland.
This role involves preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality food and beverages to agreed menus and operating standards, with a strong focus on timeliness, presentation, and professional customer service.
The successful candidate will work full-time, permanent positions.

About You
To be successful, you will possess:
* The ability to work well under pressure
* Demonstrated experience working successfully in a team environment
* Flexibility to work day and/or night shifts if required
* Comfortable taking direction and working under supervision at all times
* The ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including alcohol and drug screening
* A National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one
* Documentation to prove working rights within Australia
* Exceptional communication skills
* Excellent time management skills
* Remote work experience (highly regarded)
* A Certificate II in Hospitality (highly desired)
Application and Onboarding Process
* Shortlisted candidates will complete a 5-10 minute video introduction via MyInterview
* A follow-up phone discussion with the Recruitment Team
* Complete Civeo paperwork and provide relevant pre-employment documents, including a National Police Check Certificate less than six months old
* Complete a Pre-Employment Medical Assessment, including Drug and Alcohol Testing
* Accept a verbal offer from Civeo Recruitment and receive a contract
* Attend a Red Carpet Induction and Get Started
