Process Technician Digga is Australia's leading manufacturer of machinery attachments for the earthmoving & construction industry. We pride ourselves on our ability to manufacture up to 85% of components in house, here, in our 12,500sqm Yatala facility. We are seeking a hands-on Process Technician to join our engineering team in Yatala. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will create new product configurations and provide technical support, including new designs, product changes and process improvements for attachments and machinery in the earthmoving industry. You will work closely with key stakeholders across the business to implement products from the design stage through to manufacture. Key responsibilities will include: Product Configurations & Customisation: Create new product configurations to meet customer needs. Generate production drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs) and integrate them into the ERP system. Technical Support: Provide technical support to the sales and spare parts teams for product selection and addressing customer inquiries. Production Support: Create and maintain programming for various manufacturing equipment, including laser cutting, tube cutting, brake press and flight press machines. Assist with resolving production issues and implement improvements to optimise manufacturing processes. Manufacturing Insights: Work with engineering and production teams to provide insights into production capabilities and material availability. Project Management & Change Facilitation: Contribute to cross-functional projects, including new product development and process improvements. Support change management efforts.Experience in the following areas would be advantageous: Diploma or Trade qualified (Cert III) as a fitter, diesel mechanic, boilermaker, machinist or relevant experience will also be considered. Experience with ERP/MRP systems. Experience programming machinery including laser cutting, tube laser, press brake, flight press and/or robot welding. Experience welding and/or machining will be an advantage. Good understanding of mechanical, hydraulic and/or electrical systems. Experience with CAD modelling and drafting (Autodesk Inventor & Vault) as well as 3D scanning. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Whilst not essential a good understanding of skid steer machines, excavators, and attachments is desirable.
