We operate independently and maintain a small company culture, with the backing of a larger company’s ownership.POSITION DESCRIPTIONWe are seeking Strategic Sourcing and Advisory Specialists to join our team to undertake and lead a range of procurement and sourcing activities on behalf of our government clients.The role requires an understanding of government procurement policy and procedures and a commitment to delivering value for our clients. If you are a quality-focused and results-oriented professional, with experience delivering end-to-end procurement solutions in a client-focused environment, we want to hear from you.Deliver or assist with end to end procurement (e.g., RFQ/RFT/RFx) activities including requirements gathering and definition, and management of approach to market activitiesManage ICT procurement in accordance with established processes and proceduresDeal directly with ICT vendors and technology providers, obtaining quotes and preparing documentation to enable timely procurement that meets customer requirementsMaintain records in accordance with government and Group 10 policiesContribute to process and service improvement on an ongoing basisDESIRED EXPERIENCEHave led, managed, or contributed to RFT processes in the public sectorWorking knowledge, and understanding of and the ability to apply, the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) to ensure a compliant procurement outcomeExperience in engaging subcontractors, and managing and negotiating with vendorsQualifications or training in procurement (or relevant experience)Demonstrated experience in a client focused service delivery environmentDetails-oriented and able to manage multiple requests to tight deadlinesDemonstrated knowledge of software contracts (desirable)This role requires the successful candidate to be an Australian Citizen with the ability to be able to obtain a Federal Government Security Clearance which we will support you through.Benefits of Working at Group 10Working with Group 10 is challenging, diverse, and engaging.
