We are currently seeking expressions of interest for our trusted Government client who is recruiting for Grants Assessors and Grants Administration Officers to join the team on a temporary basis. These roles offer the opportunity to be involved in Queensland's disaster recovery response program.
In the role, you will be required to exercise your judgement to make determinations based on gathered evidence and the application of relevant legislation. There is a significant degree of stakeholder engagement which will require the highest level of customer service.
You will be responsible for:
1. Reviewing evidence, conducting assessments, and determining eligibility of grant applications
2. Analysing evidence to assess claims and liaising with applicants to clarify documentation or request supporting documentation
3. Develop and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
4. Undertake related project duties or other duties
Ideally, you will possess the following skills and experience:
1. Demonstrated experience in a similar grants/assessments role
2. Demonstrated research and analysis skills relevant to tasks, along with high attention to detail
3. Ability to prioritise and organise to meet deadlines
4. Ability to work under limited supervision
5. Strong inter-personal skills
6. Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
