Your responsibilities will include: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development and Captures Lead specialising in Aeronautics Sustainability to join our team.
As part of the ASBD Sustainment Middle East, Africa, Ukraine, and IndoPacific (MAUI) team, you'll oversee standalone sustainment for concurrent captures involving C-130, F-35, and F-16, mainly for Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Korea, and Singapore.
Key Responsibilities: Align and adapt MAUI Sustainment strategy for new business.
Develop capture strategies: competitive assessments, teaming suppliers, bid/proposal activities.
Support cross-platform/functional teams for sustainment business.
Integrate OneLM efforts in Australia and New Zealand for fixed-wing & rotary-wing platforms.
Align Aeronautics efforts with AIR6500, Advanced Systems & Technologies (AST), and other regional initiatives to drive efficiencies and increase product service delivery.
Lead and support pursuit & capture campaigns, proposal development, colour teams, and communication strategies, including tradeshows, conferences and symposiums.
Coordinate with LMANZ Australian Industry Capability Team to : Develop in-region aerospace sustainment support.
Increase sovereign capability for lifecycle partner nations.
Support customer engagement and prioritise AIR7404 C-130J & F-35 Long-Term Sustainment engagements.
Engage with Australian, New Zealand gov't, and industry leaders.
Present to US-based Lockheed Martin executives.
Deliver clear messaging and recommendations at executive levels.
Manage day-to-day activities: Coordinate visits, program updates, briefings, war room creation.
Support significant events and strategy development for pursuit & capture.
Plan campaign team & strategy meetings.
Prepare reports for LM Aero and Corporate on sustainment BD activities, up to President/CEO levels.
About you: The successful candidate will be required to: Travel: Both domestic within Australia, and New Zealand, other international travel may be required.
Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Telework and part time from a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Qualifications and Experience: Bachelors Degree in a Business, Engineering, or other related field Ability to engage with industry executives to build supplier relationships Experience in aircraft logistics and/or sustainment.
Ability to work both individually and as a team member, and self-direct most daily activities, without direct supervision, toward strategic goals with milestone expectations Self-starter with strong business acumen, communication, and strategic and tactical thinking skills with experience organizing and presenting data to senior/executive management Flexibility to concurrently work multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment Working knowledge of Australian Industry Capability (AIC) requirements as related to sustainment contracts Experience in developing customer value propositions, Win Strategies, Price-To-Win, and competitive intelligence Special Requirements: Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
