Job Description In this fast-paced role, reporting to the Chief of Staff - Video Content, you'll work with the Sport and 9News teams to execute a multi-platform strategy, integrating multimedia content into daily news. You'll create and distribute engaging video content tailored to specific audiences, aligning with 9News' journalistic standards. Strong attention to detail, copywriting skills, and experience with tools like Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, and social platforms are essential, along with a solid understanding of audience engagement across digital channels.Responsibilities: Distributing video content for the 9News brand and all relevant digital platforms. Executing tone of voice, frequency of communication and moderation.Management of all social media and digital video platforms associated with 9News.Working with broader 9News teams in the creation and publication of relevant, original, shareable and high-quality content.Maximise audience reach and engagement for 9News content.Maximise referral traffic to relevant digital assets.Drive innovation new media storytelling to bring 9News to new audiencesMaintain community management and moderation standards as per network strategy.Develop and proactively share insights/reports Qualifications What we would like to see on your resume: Journalism or communications degree (or equivalent)Well-rounded knowledge of all social media platforms, including emerging content and newstrendsPractical experience working with Social Media platforms for a large-scale business or brand preferable.Seamless verbal and written communication skillsPractical experience with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro.Ability to tell stories in multiple formats while thinking laterally about how best to tell stories to new audiencesPrior experience in broadcast news and/or digital news is preferred.A genuine interest in daily news and current affairs is a must haveAbility to analyse, review and report on the effectiveness of content and audience sentiment.Highly organised with strong attention to detail.Able to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
