Our client is a leading pumping and irrigation specialist. They manage projects from design to installation, servicing, and parts across agricultural, industrial, and commercial projects. With decades of experience in the industry, they can identify, advise on, and implement the best water solution for their clients. Due to continued expansion, they are now looking for additional sales staff. Branches are located at Narromine, Scone, Tamworth, and Gunnedah; sales personnel can be located at any of their four NSW branches, and working from home is possible with the ability to attend the office one to two days a week.
Role
This role will establish and maintain customer relationships, drive sales, and contribute to the business's overall success.
Responsibilities Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutionsDrive sales through exceptional customer service and product knowledgePromote the organisation's product, service, installation and design capabilitiesIdentify irrigation and pump requirements in the residential, agricultural, industrial and commercial sectorsAttend to customers, sales, service and project enquiriesEnsure sales budgets are met or exceededCommunicate with the service manager, service technicians, and subcontractors to ensure that project work is completed within the design criteria.Ensure all installation jobs are completed within the agreed timeframe and budgetControl all operating expenses on projects, including labour and machineryRequirements Sales experience in irrigation, water, pumps or agriculturePump and Irrigation experience with excellent hydraulic and design skillsProject management experience and skillsResults-orientated and customer service focusedAbility to work across complex projectsAbility to build positive relationships with all stakeholdersStrong self-motivation, organisation and time management skillsConflict resolution and advanced problem-solving skillsExperience in building, developing and maintaining key customer and supplier relationshipsRemuneration and Location
