Cassowary Coast Regional Council – Innisfail QLD The Team Leader ICT Operations leads the day-to-day operations of the ICT Operations Team overseeing the service desk, network operations, server and system administration, and infrastructure management.The Team Leader ICT Operations will assist and provide technical leadership in deployments of new solutions and innovations while ensuring all ICT infrastructure is secure, reliable, and performs optimally to support the business operations of the organization.This position will have a strong focus on security, as well as providing mentorship and technical escalation to and across the Information, Communications and Technology (ICT) Department.Key Outcomes Improved security posture for Council systems and users through the delivery of ICT Operations.ICT customers can expect the ICT Operations team to solve problems and fulfill requests using well-documented and communicated information within published service levels.Demonstrated continuous improvement, maintenance, and support of Council's systems, networks, hardware, and software by the ICT Operations team.Innovative solutions and initiatives are developed to support council activities and users.Comprehensive reporting to the Principal ICT Operations on the capacity of Council's data retention strategy and resilience testing to deliver the necessary system availability to users.Provide leadership and development through actions and behaviors for other team members within ICT Operations.
