About the Role:
1. We are looking for enthusiastic nurses who are willing to learn new skills to provide care for acute, aged care, and emergency department presentations.
2. You will act as an advocate to assist patients and their families/carers in making informed decisions.
3. Support patients and their families/carers to ensure clinical interventions and service delivery processes are understood and enable patients to make informed decisions in relation to their health needs.
4. You will be provided with a comprehensive orientation program, as well as numerous opportunities to further your skillset.
Where you'll be working:
5. Guyra Multi-Purpose Service has 5 acute beds, an emergency department, as well as aged care. You will be joining a small but dedicated team of nurses.

Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme:
This vacancy is eligible for an Attraction and Relocation package that includes the following*:
12. Attraction incentive paid as a Rural and Regional fortnightly allowance of up to $20,000 for the first 12 months.
13. Retention incentive of up to $10,000 thereafter annually

21. We are currently accepting overseas candidates with AHPRA registration. If you don’t have AHPRA registration, your application will not be considered.
22. This position is full time; however, part time/job share arrangements may also be considered.

To be eligible for employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to live and work in Australia. Employment of a temporary visa holder will only be offered in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa.
25. All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (AIR Immunisation History Statement) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
26. Acceptable proof of COVID-19 vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement (IHS), or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate, or AIR COVID-19 and Influenza IHS. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
