About the Opportunity
The Service Desk Officer is responsible for supporting businessoperations by providing customer focussed, first level ICT support,and effective ICT incident resolution. The Service Desk Officerwill additionally undertake varying service request fulfilment andadministrative duties, such as the creation of network accounts,and the provision of standard software and hardware to AGDcustomers (according to defined policies and processes). This roleplaces a strong emphasis on the end to end management of customerrequests, and the provision of outcomes that ultimately result inenhanced customer satisfaction.
About the Business
The Technology Services Business Unit is responsible for helpingto meet a wide range of IT needs throughout the department byproviding expertise and services in ICT Service Desk and DesktopSupport, Infrastructure Management and Technical Support, ICTContract Management and Procurement, ICT Security and Policy, ITAsset Management, software licensing and compliance, ICT ChangeManagement that assist in meeting the overall AGD objectives.
