Our Client, a large Federal Government Department based in Canberra, is seeking to engage a Senior Learning and Development Manager to drive the successful delivery of training products and services to end users.
Key duties and responsibilities
o Accountable for managing and leading a team, including providing clear and consistent communication, setting clear performance and behavioural standards, managing performance, delegating responsibility and guiding and developing people;
o Build and sustain effective relationships and networks with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business outcomes and resolve problems;
o Take the initiative to explore alternative courses of action and explore implications for learning and development activities in accordance with established frameworks;
o Investigate, assess and establish best practice learning and development solutions in the context of the Australian Signals Directorate environment.
Technical skills Required :
o Knowledge of e-learning systems principles and best practice;
o Experience working with Microsoft 365 and other software applications.
