In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the implementation of current Infection Prevention and Control Standards. You will work closely with the Executive, VMO, managers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standards of infection control are maintained. Monitor and evaluate infection control procedures and practices. Collaborate with the Executive, VMO, managers, and multidisciplinary teams. Participate in relevant committees and the National Healthscope Infection Control Cluster. Collect, collate, and analyse statistical data and trends. Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and KPIs. Review and develop policies, provide staff education, and manage incident reporting and investigations. Manage the Anti-microbial Stewardship and Hand Hygiene programs, including staff training and data reporting. Selection Criteria Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA National Crime Check within the past 12 months Current Working with Children's Check Minimum 3 years Post Graduate Experience Certificate or Diploma in Infection Prevention and Control (or evidence of working towards it) Professional development in Infection Prevention and Control Immunisation certificate or working towards it Gold Standard Auditor for NHHI Compliance with ACQSHC National Standards Must have full working rights for Australia (i.e. Permanent Resident or Citizen of Australia/New Zealand, or a current, valid visa with no restrictions).
