Overview The Allied Health Assistant provides clinical support to Allied Health Professionals within a multidisciplinary team under the direction of Allied Health Program Manager. The Allied Health Assistant in consultation with clinicians is responsible for carrying out a variety of programs, interventions and activities with a range of clients, both children and adults. The Allied Health Assistant is responsible for implementing and evaluating programs, delivering clinical services as well as providing administrative support to Allied health Professionals including scheduling clients, data entry, resource development, cleaning equipment, stock take and ordering of equipment. The Allied Health Assistant will have the opportunity to work closely with Allied Health Professionals in a supportive team environment.
