You will need to be friendly, positive and demonstrate client-focused behaviour, showing empathy and treating others with dignity and respect.
You'll also need to have a natural ability to build relationships that make a difference, be honest, helpful and dependable, making you a great asset to our team.Responsibilities will include:Variety of shifts available including weekends and active overnightsWorking within a person-centred, enabling environment that respects the rights and needs of each clientAssisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing and domestic dutiesAssisting clients with daily errands, companionship and supportProviding support with academic, social or recreational activitiesPreparing food, feeding clients and assisting medicationsObserve, care and report any changes in the health and wellbeing of the clientResponding to emergency situationsEssential Criteria:No Experience or Career ChangeCertificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (Desirable but not essential)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsWillingness to learn, develop and take on new challengesCurrent National Police CheckCurrent First Aid & CPR certificatesCurrent unrestricted driver's licenceComprehensive insurance (desirable)Double COVID Vaccination as per Queensland Government requirementJob Type: CasualSalary: $37.14 – $81.70 per hourLocation: Sunshine Coast, Personality and Traits:1.
