The purpose and function of the Motor Claims & Assessing Division is to manage the Claims Process in order to control costs while providing our customers with a seamless customer journey.
Reporting to the Senior Manager MC&A Optimisation, the Delivery lead will support the Motor Claims & Assessing Program Portfolio through the management of change initiatives utilising project governance and change management principles. This will be executed delivering exceptional service to our internal customers, minimising disruption and delivering business benefit.
Position Accountabilities
Applying departmental change and delivery process project manage delivery of system, process and/or cultural changes ensuring:
Each project has a clearly defined scope, including objectives, success sliders, quality & benefit outcomes.
Project deliverables meet the project goals and objectives, delivering the agreed business outcomes.
Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scope, budget estimations, benefit profiling and tracking and implementation plans.
Management of Risk register and agreed mitigation plan.
Project documentation as per departmental templates as relevant to the specific project, including planning and resource requests.
Analyse project progress and when necessary propose plans to adapt scope, resources or timeline to achieve optimal results.
Proactive, timely and transparent communication to stakeholders at all levels with effective escalation management to ensure a sense of urgency in delivery is maintained.
Change management to fully engage teams potentially impacted by, or impacting a change.
Ongoing monitoring of changes post implementation to ensure they are successful and benefits realisation is optimised. Where necessary, facilitate any fixes or additional enhancements that may be required.
Post implementation reviews that measure outcomes against objectives and disseminate any key learnings across the change delivery pipelines.
- Provide Project & Change Management Support to the Motor Claims & Assessing leadership team, as required. This may include provision of advice, escalation of blockers, plan revisions and assistance in managing key processes and documentation.
- Maintain sound knowledge of company processes, systems, products and brands.
What experience you’ll bring;
Project and Change Management experience with evidence of successful business delivery.
Execution of Risk identification and mitigation plans necessary to keep delivery milestones on track.
Demonstrated ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
A superior level of attention to detail and accuracy.
The ability to work autonomously while maintaining focus.
Certified in a Formal Project Management Methodology (e.g. Agile Practitioner, Prince2 practitioner, PMI Project Management Professional).
Experience in managing external suppliers.
Experience in requirements gathering and business analysis, especially in relation to system enhancements.
An understanding of the Claims & Assessing operation.
Location – This role will be based at our North Lakes or Kawana office.
