Job DescriptionWho are we looking for?We’re looking for an Engineering Project Manager to work with our client Main Roads WA, working full time hours and based in the Bunbury office on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.This position is responsible for the planning, management, and delivery of projects relating to roads and civil works. The incumbent will provide leadership, coordinate resources, manage jobs to ensure timely delivery within budget, and ensure client satisfaction.Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:Liaise and communicate with clients to understand and manage client needs and deliver projects on timeEnhance the client relationship through responsiveness, effective communication, quality, and timely project deliveryEnsure consultancy agreement is signed before commencing work on a projectRegularly brief the Project Director on project performanceBrief, lead, manage and work with the project team to achieve the project outcomesEnsure the safety of those involved on the projectFacilitate the resolution of issues between team membersDevelop a clear job brief defining the scope of workComplete projects to a high technical standardManage and lead preparation of proposals and fee estimatesBusiness development and marketing to secure new clientsCoach and mentor junior staff and ensure positive relationships developed and maintained through effective communication and consultation.What you will bring to the team:Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, or relevant disciplineManage larger sized, or complex regional road projects and/or contracts or both.Experience in supervision and management of a teamExternal stakeholder interfaceWork as part of a large project management teamProven track record and sound knowledge in road design and constructionExtensive experience in project and contract managementKnowledge in managing human, financial and other resources within agreed allocationsExposure in leading and managing individuals and teams to achieve agreed outcomesSubstantial experience in research, analysis and problem solving.Interested?
