About the Role
The Marine Maintenance Planner plays a crucial role in ensuring the Transshipment Vessels achieve maximum production in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
This position is responsible for developing maintenance plans and schedules for barges and tugs, including shutdown planning for dry docks and strategic long-term planning, while self-managing material handling systems for transhippers.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintenance planning and scheduling processes for mechanical, electrical, and operational teams.
* Preparing work packs for execution by fitters, electricians, and boilermakers.
* Preparing shut scope for major dry docking or TSV outages, including detailed Gantt charts.
* Developing long-term maintenance plans on an 18, 6, and 3-month plan.
* Incorporating safety into planned and scheduled work orders with the execution of maintenance functions.
* Maintaining equipment lifecycle history in maintenance systems for all major and minor tasks.
* Scheduling resources, labour, materials, and plant access for preventative, planned, and emergency maintenance works.
* Providing communication channels and coordination between projects team and operations.
* Liaising to address proposed modifications to project scope, schedule, or budget and influencing to minimise changes.
* Identifying changes in scope of work and reassessing renegotiating and amending scope of work responsibilities.
* Providing support to the Maintenance department to ensure procurement is streamlined and minimises delays.
