Salary: $92,855 - $97,987 (Plus 11.5% Super)

About the Role: We are recruiting a Senior Research Officer at 0.4 FTE (2 days) for 24 months to set up the Transgender Research ACT database (TRACT-Db) at Canberra Sexual Health Centre.
Faithful to the premise 'Nothing about us without us!' we wish to empower transgender and non-binary patients (trans patients) attending Canberra Health Services' (CHS) Gender services: Paediatric Gender Services or Adult Gender Services, by providing them access to the nationally largest longitudinal observational cohort study: Australian Research Consortium for Trans Youth and Children Study (ARCTYC) and its database (ARCTYC-Db). To this end, CHS Gender services initiated the Transgender Research ACT project (TRACT Project), which aims to set up the unique Transgender Research ACT patient cohort (TRACT) along with its research Database (TRACT-Db). This enables CHS Gender services to:
Address critical gaps in providing evidence-based, effective and consistent gender affirming models of care. Co-develop the project with consumers. Position CHS Gender services strategically as a valuable member of ARCTYC.
