This is an exciting opportunity working out of our Head office in Auburn NSW. The Senior Financial Accountant is responsible for managing the financial and management reporting process within Bingo. They collaborate with and supervise the finance reporting department in order to assure effective financial management reporting and compliance with all financial regulations and procedures.Role & Responsibilities: Manage and drive the end-to-end month process including group consolidation and management reporting to senior management.Ensure all processes are running smoothly, seek to optimise and drive increased efficiency as applicable.Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis.Ensure compliance with appropriate accounting policies and procedures that ensures robust financial governance of the business.Where necessary, assist in the development and implementation of additional robust financial controls and policies.Conduct analyses of operating results and report on variances from budget.Work with Business partners by providing financial analysis and commentary as required.Manage junior staff.Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements and audit process.Work closely with key stakeholders in relation to the adoption of new accounting policies including the documentation of such policy changes, processes and/or system impacts and change implementations.Contribute to the development of a learning environment by providing ongoing coaching, support and development for financial accountants and peers.Assist with process and system improvements.Ensure Regulatory Compliance.Participate in other projects as required.Abide by all company policies, procedures and processes.What makes you a GOgetter: Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting.CPA or CA with 3-5 years post qualification experience.Experience across a range of financial accounting policies, processes and frameworks.Experience of providing sound financial/commercial input to businesses.Good working knowledge across a range of accounting tools and systems.Working knowledge and experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP and Blackline (desirable).Otherwise experience with enterprise level ERP.Experience in statutory accounts presentation and analysis.Experience in effectively engaging with senior management.Experience in managing a small team (desirable).Proven experience in an environment where multitasking, prioritising and working to deadlines was required.Extensive experience in Microsoft products with advanced level experience in the use of Excel.Strong communication and relationship skills to achieve outcomes.What you receive as a GOgetter: Flexible working between office and WFH.Weekly pay for all GOgetters.When you join the BINGO family, you have the chance to make $1500 for every friend you bring to BINGO!Training and progression opportunities within the BINGO family.A strong, employee and safety driven company culture.Employee benefits such as novated car leasing, discounted health insurance, recognition program and retailer discounts.At BINGO we are committed to building a workforce that reflects the communities and customers we serve.
