Research Translation Officer, Sunshine Coast Health Institute (SCHI)An exciting opportunity exists for a Research Translation Officer for the Sunshine Coast Health Institute (SCHI) research team who facilitate the publication and systematic sharing of key learnings and outcomes to contribute to knowledge sharing through clinical and academic partnerships.The team aims to work across all stages of the knowledge translation journey, covering an extensive range of research areas; from testing new ideas in the labs, to delivering innovative new models of care and new treatments in both hospital and community settings.Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.The SCHHS is a values-based organisation.We are committed to the maintenance of a culture in which we treat our colleagues with respect as we do our patients, consumers and the community.We respect, protect and promote human rights in our decision-making and actions.The Sunshine Coast Health Institute is an integrated, collaborative, and comprehensive education, skills training and research facility for health professionals, central to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH)'s vision of providing excellent care through collaboration, enquiry and education.Together, the SCHI partners provide a range of educational tools and training to develop and improve the skills of Doctors, Nurses, Allied Health workers, Health Professional and Vocational students.Key Responsibilities include: Assist and contribute to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based interventions to support project outcomes for the SCHHS.Participate in decision making and action planning using available evidence from local, regional, state, and national.Develop and maintain close and collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners to build research translation capacity and improve the delivery of health.Remuneration value up to $79,540 p.a., comprising salary rates $39.86 - $58.59 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3) (Permanent Flexible part-time positions, 45.60 hrs p.f.).Applications will remain current for 12 months.Why work for us?
