About the opportunity The University of Sydney is welcoming applications for a Supervising Psychologist to be part of the GambleAware team based at the Brain and Mind Centre in Camperdown.The Supervising Psychologist will be required to provide cognitive therapy, provide clinical supervision, and assist with regional and staff management.Your key responsibilities will be to:Manage a small team for the GambleAware Central Sydney region including gambling counsellors, financial counsellors, and community engagement workers, under the direction of the Clinic Manager and with support from the Lead Clinical Psychologist.Provide and/or supervise clinicians and clinical interns in treatment, assessment, and crisis intervention with clients.Maintain client files to a high professional standard, take part in file audits, contribute to data entry, program evaluation, and report writing as required.Participate in community engagement and development of educational materials including provision of workshops and training seminars and liaising with relevant services to effectively promote GambleAware services and referral pathways.Contribute to the achievement of clinic and team outcomes by coordinating projects, activities, or tasks as specified by the Clinic Manager.The successful applicant will be offered flexible work arrangements including work-from-home as appropriate, flexible hours, including the option to work on Saturdays.About you The University values courage and creativity; openness and engagement; inclusion and diversity; and respect and integrity.
