About the Role
We invite dedicated individuals to join our Out of Home Care team as Direct Support Professionals.
This role offers flexibility, with the option to move to part-time work after an initial period of casual employment.
As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people in out-of-home care.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist young people with daily living tasks, including medication administration and community access.
* Facilitate enriching experiences and support educational goals.
* Maintain a safe and supportive home environment.
Requirements
* Certificate IV in Children, Youth & Family Intervention (or willingness to undertake this training).
* Victorian or NSW driver's licence.
* Current Level 2 First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
* Three doses of COVID-19 vaccine (or exemption).
Desirable Qualifications
* Experience supporting individuals with complex needs.
* Understanding of positive behaviour support principles.
* Certificate III in Individual Support – Disability.
