Head of Services and Concession ManagementHead of Services and Concession Management QueenslandWorking at Transurban is different; it's a place where you can see the benefits of your work play out in real life, every day.We create city-sized solutions-building and operating safer, smarter, and more sustainable roads-to solve pressing transport challenges that are slowing cities down.About the roleWe're seeking a Head of Services and Concession Management Queensland to support the GM Queensland with the strategic and operational management of concession agreements and services contracts with BCC and the DTMR in line with the contractual requirements.You'll join an innovative team, who work collaboratively to drive successful outcomes.As our Head of Services and Concession Management Queensland you'll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities.It's meaningful, challenging and exciting work.Day-to-day, you will: Lead efforts to optimize concession performance, drive compliance, and implement process improvements and innovations.Have single-point accountability for all Queensland concession and services contract matters, ensuring a consistent focus and approach in managing the day-to-day operations to ensure the Queensland concession agreements and services contracts are delivered.Be responsible for management of key stakeholders in government, industry and community.Lead the negotiations with DTMR and BCC on changes to services contracts including renewal and contract amendments.This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including: Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce or Law, or equivalent experience.10+ years demonstrated success in senior leadership roles managing complex stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to influence government and industry stakeholders on key strategic and policy issues.Ability to respond to emergency situations as required, on a 24x7 basis to meet business needs.Strong understanding of legal and commercial structures and interpreting deeds, contracts and legislation.If you meet some of these requirements, but not all, we encourage you to submit your application.
