We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Office Reception Guest Services Agent to join our dynamic Bayside Melbourne team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process. You will also assist with reservations, handle guest inquiries, and provide information about the hotel and local area. Seeking a positive, driven and enthusiastic person with a very hands on approach, whom loves a challenge, can work as part of a team and also autonomously. This role requires confidence - excellent sales and organisational skills with the ability to multi task. Major Responsibilities: Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently Assist guests with reservations and inquiries Provide information about the hotel amenities and local attractions Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department Maintain a clean and organized front desk area Work with sales team to convert enquiries Coordinating reservations Maintaining client contacts Guest services Site walks Catering and conferencing Maintaining stationary and office supplies Coordination of couriers and mail Accurate and efficient management of information Storage filing systems General day to day Front Office operations and hotel guest services Qualifications: Prior experience in customer service or hospitality industry preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer systems (RMS experience highly regarded) Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays To be considered for this role you must demonstrate the following; A warm and engaging personality with excellent time management and communication skills An excellent phone manner and willingness to learn A strong sales focus Our ideal candidate, is confident, positive, enthusiastic and sales driven with a flair for customer service.
