DescriptionThis role will be responsible for supporting, troubleshooting, and managing end-user technology, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations for employees. This includes providing technical support, configuring and maintaining devices, ensuring software compatibility, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues. The EUC specialist will work closely with the IT team to implement and manage end-user systems and solutions.
Key Responsibilities-
Ensure strict adherence to the Regional IT team’s processes, Service Level Agreement (SLA), standards and policies.
Ensure adherence to the company’s global and regional standards and policies.
Ensure approved system administration methodologies and processes are followed
Work across all Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) areas to assist with the Change Management process
Provide High Priority Incident Management during Terminal incidents
End-to-end incident management of lower priority incidents.
Investigate escalated and reported incidents, and provide resolutions in line with agreed SLA’s for nominated Business Services
Provide after-hours response (24x7) to escalated critical incidents for systems at the Terminal on a rotational rostered basis. This may include taking calls or physically attending at the terminal.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience –
Minimum 1year in an EUC support role
Exposure to Logistics / Supply Chain environments advantageous
Desktop and Infrastructure support experience, with active knowledge of relevant troubleshooting skills and tools
Proactive automation of system administration tasks to provide consistent and proven methodologies to automate common/recurring tasks
Experience in Operations teams that are required to provide 24x7 support to their Business
Experience in Business-related IT systems from an Engineering perspective, instead of traditional IT
Worked in an Information Technology Information Library (ITIL) aligned environment and familiar with Incident, Change, Problem and continuous improvement.
Able to occasionally work at heights to provide support on Mobile Computer Terminals (vehicle-mount and handheld)
Good interpersonal skills – ability to build relationships across all levels of the business
End user computing and administration including
Microsoft Windows
Active Directory (user and security permissions, group policy)
Office 365
Standard Operating Environment (SOE) / Managed Operating Environment (MOE) and Application deployment
Desktop applications, Smartphones and iPads
Remote access (Manage Engine)
Confident with the use of ITSM Toolsets (ServiceNow)
Understanding of orchestration and automation tasks within an IT environment. Exposure to PowerShell and scripting advantageous
Building of knowledge and creating a “Shift Left” mindset with Business As Usual (BAU) support.
