This position is based on a roster system and flexibility of hours is required to work mornings, days, evenings and/or weekends. To be successful, you'll have: Basic hospitality skills or previous experience in hospitality settings. Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to produce clear and accurate communications that are appropriate for their intended audience. Proven capability to work positively and effectively as part of a collaborative work team, accommodate and thrive in diverse working styles, and work independently when necessary. Demonstrate the ability to exercise sound judgment, initiative, diplomacy, tact and discretion when dealing with different members of the public. Provide intuitive customer service that meets the requirements of individual guests and resolve issues as they arise in a timely manner. Ability to use initiative, seek resolutions to concerns to meet customer and business needs. Coffee making experience is preferred. Your key responsibilities will be to: Effectively work with other team members to deliver front of house and food and beverage services, maintain service standards and processes, ensuring directed tasks are carried out in a timely and efficient manner. Provide a high level of customer service, ensuring guests are greeted professionally with a high standard of presentation, to ensure professional delivery of services. Preparation and maintenance of function and meeting rooms, including set up and pack down of furniture. Stocking of tea and coffee stations and ensuring communal catering areas are kept clean and tidy. Preparation of Barista Coffee as needed. Food and beverage service including: breakfast, lunch and dinner service and corporate event catering. Conduct payment transactions. Ability to work independently and use initiative where appropriate. Performing any additional tasks as instructed, consistent with the scope and classification of the position.
