About ACC Hume
ACC Hume is a P-10, co-ed, Christian school located at Benalla, approximately 2 hours north of Melbourne.
The school is currently undergoing an exciting period of growth and development, with secondary year groups being added annually until it becomes a P-12 school by 2026.

Core Responsibilities & Duties
* Plan and implement teaching programs or courses of study.
* Have the content knowledge and pedagogical practice to meet the diverse needs of all students.
* Demonstrate a commitment to improving professional practice through coaching and professional development.
* Provide a child safe environment in accordance with the child safe standards.
* Participate in child safety and wellbeing induction and training provided by the school.
* Act in accordance with our Child Safety Code of Conduct.
* Identify and raise concerns about child safety issues in accordance with our Child Safety Responding and Reporting Obligations Policy and Procedures.
* Ensure students' views are taken seriously and their voices are heard about decisions affecting their lives.
* Model and promote the vision and values of the school.
* Teach an area of the curriculum to senior year levels.
* Maintain records of class attendance and recording student progress.
* Implement effective student management consistent with the school's strategic plan.
* Attend and participate in staff meetings as required.
* Be actively involved in regular staff devotions and prayer.
This part-time Secondary English position can commence as soon as possible.
The available Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) ranges from 0.4 to 0.8 and is open to negotiation.
While this is our immediate need for the current school year, we are also looking ahead for a full-time VCE English Teacher for 2025, and this part-time role could evolve into the full-time option if suitable.
