ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for an experienced individual to lead a team of disability support professionals in delivering high-quality, personalised support services to our clients. The responsibilities of the position include:
* Managing sites for clients, staff and visitors, ensuring the site is well presented, well maintained, and meets compliance standards.
* Leading the development, implementation, and review of each client’s comprehensive person-centred plan.
* Ensuring complete and accurate record keeping and documentation at each house in accordance with Unisson Disability’s policies and procedures and relevant Client Management System.
* Participating in processes related to the use of Restricted Practices where required.
* Providing support to clients to prepare for and attend NDIS Plan Review meetings, ensuring all relevant support documentation and evidence is available and actively participating or advocating for the client.
* Maintaining and continuously improving staff skills through observation, feedback, and coaching.
* Ensuring continuity of service through planned staff leave and timely recruitment of new staff in collaboration with the Scheduling Team and the Human Resources Team.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
* 2-3 years’ experience working in a leadership-based role in Disability Sector.
* Previous experience supporting clients with behaviours of concerns.
* Willingness to participate in flexible working hours including on call, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
* High levels of enthusiasm, initiative, and a positive attitude. Reliable, team-focused, and committed to achieving excellence in the Disability sector.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication, organisation, presentation, and leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop these skills in others.
* Emotional intelligence, resilience, and capacity to perform the work required.
