Join our Internal Audit division, where we provide independent assurance on internal controls to the Board Audit Committee, Board Risk Committee, and Group Executives. We are seeking a Technology Audit Manager to lead high-quality audits, ensuring the effectiveness of the technology control environment across all platforms and functions, while also addressing emerging risks. In this role, you will play a key part in the ongoing development of our world-class Internal Audit service. What you'll do Lead/perform end-to-end technology audits, project reviews and ad-hoc reviews in accordance with Suncorp Audit Methodology and professional internal auditing standards, within the agreed timeframe. Agree management action plans and perform follow-up activities to ensure that risks will be controlled within Board risk appetite. Provide input to the annual Suncorp Group Internal Audit plan to ensure high risk areas are identified. Maintain appropriate and effective working relationships with business management and risk functions as part of business liaison responsibility and effective audit management. Identify and provide advice to the business on appropriate internal controls in relation to existing, new and/or proposed changes to products, services, processes and projects within the portfolio. Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the Internal Audit function through teamwork, innovation, effective management of services and resources, and input into initiatives. Provide advice and guidance, coaching and mentoring to team members, including on-the-job training and delivering timely, direct and effective feedback that contributes to the ongoing development of the Internal Audit team. Implement own development plan and share knowledge with team members. Manage resources for the assigned audits that balances delivery and team member development. What you'll bring Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT Internal Audit, IT Risk Management or IT Governance. Working knowledge of technology platforms and practices such as applications, Cloud, networks and databases. Cyber security and information security management experience (CPS234, cloud, API, data etc) is highly desirable. Experience with digital and other emerging technologies (AI, robotics etc) is desirable. Working knowledge of project management frameworks. Degree or qualifications in Technology, Risk Management, Data Analytics or Software Engineering. Certifications in Cyber Security, CISA, CISM or CISSP.
