Evident Scientific is seeking a Sales Specialist to manage the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) product portfolio, specifically Ultrasonic and Eddy Current NDT solutions, within a defined geographical territory. Posted 2 days ago Position Summary: The Sales Specialist will play a critical role in driving sales growth and business development across key industries such as Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Defence, Aviation, and Inspection Services. Reporting to the Manager of Sales TNM ANZ, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to meet sales targets and foster strong customer relationships. Key Responsibilities: Achieve sales results within the assigned territory and meet or exceed monthly and annual sales budgets. Develop an in-depth understanding of the NDT product range and their applications, particularly in Ultrasonic and Eddy Current testing. Build and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the local customer base, creating a territory plan to achieve yearly sales targets. Prepare and execute weekly sales visits, ensuring that future sales activities are well-planned and coordinated. Coordinate with the Logistics Coordinator and Product Specialists to arrange product demonstrations for potential clients. Provide accurate weekly activity reports and sales forecasts for the assigned territory. Foster strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders across various industries, delivering excellent service and support. Qualifications: Proven experience in a sales role, particularly in field sales or account management, is highly desirable. Experience or studies in relevant Engineering disciplines (Industrial, Materials, Mechanical, Electrical) or trade equivalent is an advantage. Familiarity with Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques, particularly Ultrasonic NDT methods and applications. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present logical, cohesive arguments and negotiate effectively at all levels. A proactive, results-driven approach with a focus on delivering customer satisfaction and building lasting relationships. Experience working towards KPIs and sales targets in a fast-paced environment, with a passion for achieving and exceeding goals.
