Job Summary (12 months contract)
Personal assistant work to ensure the smooth running and operations of the business and its key people.
Support SGLA's marketing initiatives and efforts to ensure that SGLA has a strong brand in the marketplace and achieves its desired reputation. This includes assisting the team in delivering and supporting clients.
Responsibilities
Key duties and responsibilities
PA/support for key management team members: Chief Commercial Officer, Chief Underwriter, Head of Pricing. Including diary and e-mail management, travel and accommodation, administrative support, preparation of Powerpoint presentations, agenda and other documentation. Broader team support as required.
Liaising with the Office Manager as required to deliver key business and administration requirements.
Managing and organising conferences, seminars and events.
Coordinating conferences, industry events, client events, seminars, internal/team events etc.
Negotiating contracts with venues and suppliers.
End to end planning and organisation of events including invites, marketing, and attendance to ensure smooth running.
Coordinating thought leadership content, marketing content and training content. Examples include SCOR Trends (newsletter) and SCOR Campus (online education platform). Assuring smooth organisation, rich content meeting client needs and on time delivery. Supporting design of content. Continuously look for new innovative ways to share information with clients.
Client Relationship Management (CRM) system (Salesforce) and Client Management:
Working on the CRM/marketing tool and providing a professional image by using the campaign functionalities for events.
Maintaining a clean client database which allows for ease of use.
Support the business in having a better understanding of key clients and stakeholders through stakeholder mapping.
Maintaining a great relationship with clients and particularly with admin support for clients.
Maintaining a good relationship with the Global Marketing Team.
CSR and learning & development: Organising events/projects based on Health and Wellness to improve the quality of life of the workplace and supporting the learning and development of our team through lunch and learns etc.
Enterprise Risk Management: exhibit behaviour consistent with the risk management culture of the business.
Projecting the SCOR brand in the market place.
Relationships
Positive relationships and acting as an advocate for SCOR in the market - especially with admin support at clients and partners.
Able to work collaboratively as part of a small team and in particular maintaining good relationships with the business teams (e.g. MACS, Pricing, Underwriting, Claims, Valuation, Finance).
Contract Duration
12 month contract for maternity cover.
Qualifications
Experience
Essential
Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience, ideally in an insurance/reinsurance business.
Strong Outlook, Word and Powerpoint skills.
Desirable
Creative mindset and willingness to challenge status quo.
Commercial business sense and experience.
Ability to understand and navigate issues - "an eye for detail".
Project management skills.
Basic Excel skills.
