About Your Role As a Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) at MLHD, you will be instrumental in the development and career success of the nursing team. You will be the go-to expert for nursing education, providing engaging evidence-based programs and support to enhance clinical knowledge and skills. Key Responsibilities Education and Development: Promoting best practice through staff development and clinical education and training, ensuring optimal patient outcomes in accordance with governing documents including policies, procedures, guidelines, pathways, and frameworks.Leadership and Management: Act as a clinical leader to inspire and manage a diverse team of nurses and healthcare staff, provide appropriate supervision and guidance to motivate and encourage the workforce to achieve their goals, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of patient care by implementing best practices and quality improvement initiatives, in accordance with national standards. Supervise, mentor, and support the workforce to promote a culture of quality and safety.Critical Thinking: Demonstrate expert clinical knowledge through effective problem-solving and decision-making, adapting education approaches to empower staff in their roles and throughout their education needs.Communication and Teamwork: Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate a trusting environment conducive to learning.Professional Development: Maintain professional growth and development by participating in educational opportunities.Attractive Remuneration: $109,684.57 - $113,243.15 per annum (+ super + 17.5% leave loading where applicable)
