ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback. Due to anticipated growth across our flagship portfolio in Central QLD, we have exciting opportunities for housekeepers across 4 Villages working 9:5 rosters (9 days on, 5 days off).
The Position
* Working as key members in our remote Housekeeping team
* Ensuring guests at our villages come back to their rooms after spending many hours working out in the heat to clean crisp sheets, a tidy room, freshly laundered towels and a clean shower that can wash away the grit of a hard day’s work.
* Maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment
* Housekeeping is not just about changing linen, cleaning bathrooms and restocking toiletries. It’s about creating an environment that allows our residents and guests to relax, rejuvenate and re-energise.
The Person
* Housekeeping/cleaning experience desirable but willing to train the right candidates
* Drivers licence and own reliable transport
* Be flexible and adaptable with a can-do attitude
* Ability to work within a team and autonomously when required
* Time savvy and ability to meet deadlines
* Physically fit and able to stand on their feet for up to 10 hours per day
