Testing requirements will involve hardware and software components. You need to be onsite (Mon - Fri) at our Macquarie Park office in Sydney.

About the Role
* Exercise discretion and independent judgment designing, modifying, and executing test scripts for comprehensive coverage.
* Customarily and regularly document and track defects related to both theme and platform.
* Identify and document defects; proactively isolates and resolves software related issues.
* Support the organization with initial compliance and ongoing preparation, testing, and monitoring of conformance to established quality assurance processes and standards for production.
* Build and maintain a strong working knowledge of regulatory compliance standards.
* Customarily and regularly recommend improvements in testing methodologies, strategies, and processes.
* Routinely audit test cycles and provides technical expertise regarding testing and feature functionality.
* Responsible for overall test strategy for one or more projects.
* Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams in identifying risk, evaluating deficiencies, and creating solutions.
About You
* Education & Experience :
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience in a related field required.
* 0-1 years' experience in a quality or testing role.
* New graduates are welcome to apply.
* Ability to learn jurisdictional requirements and apply knowledge to test cases :
Identify and report defects via black box testing methodology.
* Basic to intermediate level of risk identification as it relates to testing software and risk mitigation / elimination solutions.
* Understand how risks impact interdepartmental teams and cross functional groups.
* Computer / Technical Skills :
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* Understanding of testing tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Perforce, and Jenkins.
* Willingness to be trained on product hardware and software.
* Ability to execute test scripts and accurately report status feature through scripted and ad-hoc tasks.
* Ability to build end-to-end test plans after training, ensuring the highest level of quality.
* Exposure to knowledge of bug tracking, source code control, and code debuggers.
* Familiarity with programming preferred in C# and Python.
