Join to apply for the CSSD Assistant role at Ramsay Health CareOur Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital is in search of dedicated individuals to join our welcoming and supportive Central Sterile Department (CSD) team.This is a permanent part-time position requiring 64 hours per fortnight. In this role, you will gain valuable experience in the reprocessing of reusable medical devices, including tasks like decontamination, packing sterilisation, dispatch, logistics, and when necessary, transportation.The CSD services extend to 4 external sites, plus in-house operations, offering work across a total of 5 sites. This position may require driving a van and unloading medical instruments.Shifts will be scheduled on a rotating roster from Monday to Sunday, covering 5 shifts per week or 10 shifts per fortnight.Your Skills And ExperienceTo excel in this role, you should possess a positive disposition with a “can-do” attitude. Your outstanding communication skills and the capacity to collaborate within a multidisciplinary setting are imperative for this position.
