About the role
:
The Support Services Supervisor is responsible for the service delivery of Patient Support Services pertaining to all standards and legislative compliance to Bourke MPS.
The Support Services Supervisor will be responsible for Food services, Food Safety Compliance and reporting, Environmental Services, Cleaning and Waste Management Compliance auditing and reporting, Laundering and Linen Services and supply for the facility.
This role will be comprised of two days dedicated to management duties and three days Hospital Assistant duties that support the delivery of an efficient and effective catering and cleaning services to the patients and facilities within the Multipurpose Service.
In accordance with the requirements of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission Regulation 2013, any person engaged in NDIS related work is required to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) clearance as part of their employment with Western NSW Local Health District if successful for this role.

Bourke Multipurpose Service (MPS) is a modern hospital with a wide range of services including 35 inpatient beds, emergency department, ambulatory care, aged care residential ward, X-ray and pathology departments as well as extensive outpatient services including, dialysis unit, mental health and child and family services.The MPS is co-located with a community health centre.
