The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced B2B sales professional to join us in the role of Corporate Health Partnerships Manager in this permanent role.
The role is responsible for maintaining and growing private health insurance (PHI) via an existing strategic portfolio, as well as the acquisition of new corporate clients. In order to promote this growth, the role works closely with key senior stakeholders to implement the corporate sales strategy for Victoria, delivering specifically on business development to potential corporate customers to ensure maximum sales performance.
This role is critical in supporting the go to market for the portfolios move from a PHI focus to a health care company. To do this, you will transition from the traditional pure PHI model to promote Medibanks amazing broader health offerings.
As part of the Medibank Group, we have a huge focus on health and wellbeing. This means flexible working and continuous improvement to our ways of working. This team is currently trialling a 4 day work week, which means putting tools down to focus on something to improve your personal health and wellbeing.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Deciding if your day is best spent working from home or the office. We don’t go for mandated office attendance here at Medibank, but we will need you to come along to team days and events when they’re on.
2. Achieving sales targets through delivery of a sophisticated business development and account management sales model.
3. Growing and retaining new business accounts.
4. Work collaboratively with Health and Wellbeing (H&W) teams to ensure you are up to date regarding all the H&W programs and member health programs on offer to our Corporate clients.
5. Submitting new business proposals and tender responses with support from key internal stakeholders.
6. Leverage existing/new relationships and networks to identify future business development opportunities.
7. Developing effective internal and external stakeholder networks with key influencers and decision-makers to identify opportunities and enhance overall sales delivery and effectiveness.
8. Taking some time to recharge your batteries and encouraging others to do the same – you might grab a takeaway coffee and head out for a walking one on one with a team member, get to the gym for a lunchtime class.
About You
Enough about us already, let’s talk about you… You will be an experienced B2B sales professional with demonstrated success in a relationship-based sales environment, able to effectively manage and retain strategic accounts.
You’ll need to be a real people person with a knack for building effective, positive working relationships – from confidently communicating with senior stakeholders to influencing and negotiating with business leaders, you will have experience across it all.
To be successful in the role you will also experience in:
9. Working in a health or insurance related industry.
10. Developing and leveraging multiple relationships to effectively network a client organisation in order to drive organic sales.
11. Successfully building and growing accounts in a B2B environment.
12. Relationship management, selling and negotiation at a high level.
13. Salesforce and MS Office suite.
