RED Appointments is a leading provider of human-resource and workforce recruitment services, partnering with some of Australia's most respected companies.Our commitment to excellence has allowed us to work on premium projects, offering our employees a diverse range of opportunities.We are currently seeking an experienced and committed FIFO Duel Trade Electrical Instrumentation Technician/Electrician (Mining) to play a crucial role in supporting our clients' projects, contributing to their success.About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced FIFO Electrical Instrumentation Technician / Electrician to join our maintenance team for an exciting opportunity in the mining sector.This role involves both surface and underground fixed plant maintenance on a variety of equipment, including conveyors, vibrating feeders, and complex instrumentation systems.You will be part of a small, dedicated team responsible for the ongoing upkeep and performance of vital equipment on site.This is a 3-month contract position, with the potential to extend to 6 months based on operational needs.Key Responsibilities:• Conduct preventative and breakdown maintenance on surface and underground fixed plant equipment, including:• Stacker & Stockpile Systems• Conveyor Systems• Vibrating Feeders• Level Sensors and Weightometers• CAF Plant Instrumentation (Air/Level/Position)• Raised Bore Instrumentation (Vibration/Air Flow)• UG Water Droppers (Flow/Pressure Sensors)• Citect Alarm Monitoring• SAP/Work Order Administration• Monitor and ensure the reliable operation of equipment in both Surface and Underground environments.Essential Qualifications & Experience:• SA Electrical Licence & LVR/CPR (Mandatory)• Experience in Electrical Instrumentation and maintenance of fixed plant equipment• Strong familiarity with conveyor systems, vibrating feeders, level sensors, and other related instrumentation• Previous experience working in mining or heavy industry (preferred)• Knowledge of SAP/Work Order administration• Ability to complete site inductions (Generic, Fixed Plant, Mine Maintenance, etc.)• Underground experience and comfort working in both surface and underground environments.Roster & Shift Details:• Roster: 7 Days on / 7 Rest Days / 7 Nights on / 7 Rest Days• Shift Timing:• Day Shift: Wednesday PM - Wednesday PM• Night Shift: Thursday AM - Thursday AM• Flights Ex Adelaide, Meals & Accommodation Provided.Why Join Us?• Competitive $70 per hour flat rate• Opportunity to work on a diverse range of equipment in a dynamic mining environment• Initial 3-month contract, with the likelihood of an extension to 6 months based on operational needs• Join a dedicated, small team where you can make a real impact.How to Apply:If you meet the qualifications and are ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role, please apply now with your updated resume.For more information or to discuss the role further, please contact Ange 0402 323 ***. #J-18808-Ljbffr
