Consultant Psychiatrist | Telehealth and/or Practice based

Chronic pain is complex and optimally treated in a multi-disciplinary pain management program (including physiotherapy, psychology, and medical). Evidence on the positive impacts and effectiveness of our programs compared to 120 other pain management providers has been demonstrated in the Electronic Persistent Pain Outcomes Collaboration (ePPOC).
With seven clinics, we are one of the largest Pain Management providers in Australia. We are the preferred providers for TAC and WorkSafe (Network Pain Management) as well as several large insurance and employer organisations.

About this opportunity
We are currently looking for a part-time Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team either completely remote (via telehealth) or at any one of our seven clinics.
More information about this role includes:
* Retaining $350 – $400 per hour as a contractor with no entitlements. This is NOT an employee role.
* Be based anywhere in Australia using our established telehealth platform, with the option to be based at one or more of our seven clinics face to face based on applicants’ preferred locations.
* Up to 3 days per week work available (minimum 2 days per month).
* Industry leading reception and administrative support, including marketing and referral support from specialist medical practitioners.
* Access to a long-term and extensive professional referral network to grow caseload over time. Practitioners can expect a full list of patients on commencement.
* A unique case mix of consultations including as part of a multidisciplinary pain management program (where psychological barriers to recovery are a high priority) and a negotiable amount of general (or other specialty) private psychiatry.
* Work with over 70 expert medical and allied health professionals in a highly collaborative and culturally diverse team of physicians, psychologists, and physiotherapists.
* Options to participate in our world-class clinical research projects (including publication opportunities) with a focus on persistent pain, mental health problems, ACT/CBT. New projects are welcome with the support of our industry leading clinical research systems.
* Additional training and mentoring opportunities depending on individual interests including research, business, technology, or clinical special interests.
About you
* Full registration with AHPRA and fellowship with RANZCP.
* A genuine interest in providing Psychiatry services as part of a dynamic and professional multi-disciplinary pain management team.

* Recently purchased computer with Microsoft Office 365 installed.
