About your role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Boilermaker / Mechanical Fitter tradesperson to work within our Turnaround team in the Maintenance Services department. Reporting directly to the Supervisor – Site Services & Flash Tanks you will contribute to our Safe, Stable and Sustainable vision by:
5. Ensuring all work is performed in accorance with site health, environmental and community policies, systems and procedures
6. Performing maintenance services on the Flash Tanks, Digestors, Holding Tanks and associated equipment in the Digestion area of the plant (planned work and breakdowns)
7. Diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and recommending improvements to equipment
8. Ordering parts and recording maintenance history
9. Completing inspection of components and taking personal accountability for the safe execution, quality and efficiency of work
10. Communicating effectively with your team and other internal customers as required
What you will bring
To be successfully considered for this role, you should have:
11. A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
12. Mechanical trade qualifications (Boilermaker or Mechanical Fitter) with experience installing large valves and pipework would be advantageous
13. A positive and motivated attitude with the ability to communicate effectively and work safely in a team environment
14. Able to work autonomously in the field
15. Riggers and Forklift High Risk Work Licence would be advantageous
16. Process-oriented thinking through identification of improvements to advance accuracy and efficiency
