Quality Assurance & Control (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) As the Manufacturing Quality Specialist at Ballantyne, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance across our production facilities in Laverton North, VIC. Reporting to the Quality Manager of the site, you will be responsible for developing and implementing robust quality assurance processes that drive continuous improvement within the manufacturing environment. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced quality professional to make a significant impact within our organisation. What you'll be doing Oversee quality control activities across all manufacturing operations, including inspections, testing, and processing CCP's. Develop and maintain quality systems that meet or exceed industry standards and regulatory requirements providing assurance of continual quality improvements. Analyse quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions to address issues and opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve quality-related challenges. Provide support, training and guidance to manufacturing staff on quality processes, hygiene and SOP's. Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices, and ensure the organisation's compliance. Continuously seek opportunities to improve manufacturing processes with respect to Quality Systems/HACCP/GMP. Prepare detailed quality reports for management and key stakeholders. What we're looking for Degree in a relevant field, such as Engineering, Food Science/Technology, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing quality management role, preferably in the Food Industry. In-depth knowledge of quality management principles, tools, and techniques, relating to Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and GFSI standards. Strong knowledge of HACCP, DFSV, FSSC, Halal. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to use quality management software. Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
