This is a new role and will initially be offered on a temporary contract until the end of June, with a possible extension depending on performance and funding.
This role will require you to work full-time hours and will pay a competitive hourly rate.Your new roleAs the Logistics and Procurement Consultant, you will be responsible for identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement to enhance processes within the team.
Your duties will include:Assessing stock requirements and identifying gaps to ensure preparedness for emergency events.Standardising warehousing processes across multiple locations.Developing and delivering training sessions around logistics and procurement practices.Documenting processes and developing business rules around strategic sourcing.What you'll need to succeedExtensive experience in developing logistics and procurement systems and processes for small-scale operations.Advanced communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.Advanced conceptual, problem-solving, and analytical skills.Experience working in the public sector in WA would be highly desirable.What you'll get in returnCompetitive hourly rate.Full-time hours.Fremantle office location.Immediate start.What you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV.
